LONG TERM ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT - ppt download



Menurut Balyi (2013:12) LTAD adalah model inklusif yang mendorong anak untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas fisik seumur hidup dengan menghubungkan dan mengintegrasikan program pendidikan fisik sekolah dengan program klub olahraga elit dan program olahraga rekreasi di masyarakat. Melalui pendekatan holistiknya, LTAD mempertimbangkan perkembangan fisiologis, psikologis, dan sosial sehingga setiap atlet berkembang sebagai pribadi yang utuh.

Menurut Granacher et al., (2016:2) LTAD adalah jalur terstruktur untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan dari anak-anak berbakat menjadi atlet elit yang terdiri dari tujuh tahapan berurutan, yaitu: 

  1. Active Start, 
  2. FUNdamentals, 
  3. Learn to Train, 
  4. Train to Train, 
  5. Train to Compete, 
  6. Train to Win, 
  7. Active for Life) and considers individual maturational level rather than chronological age
